Mosaic 2022 Cancelled

Regina Multicultural Council (RMC) Update “Mosaic – A Festival of Cultures” for 2022.

Please be advised that the Mosaic Committee hosted a special virtual meeting with the pavilion members on April 27, 2022. A decision was made by consensus to cancel Mosaic for 2022 and proceed with the planning for Mosaic 2023. The decision was made after multiple pavilion meetings and based on the information in hand. However, we will be proceeding with Bringing Little Mosaic to You (BALMTY) and Farmers Market performances. More information related to these will be shared at a later date. Please share the information on BLAMTY and Farmers market with your dance groups. The Mosaic Committee will like to thank all the pavilions for participating in the pavilion meetings and sharing your thoughts. The Regina Multicultural Council will be hosting Mosaic in 2023 on June 1, 2 and 3. Please feel free to reach out to us at rmc.pa@sasktel.net, if you require any further information. Have a wonderful spring and summer!

RMC Statement on Ukraine

On behalf of the Regina Multicultural Council We express our deepest sympathy for the suffering that is occurring in Ukraine and all of the unjust actions being taken by the Russian Government.

As we watch the proceedings in sadness we pray that this will end soon and Ukrainians will be able to rebuild their lives and establish hope again.

Across the miles from Canada we hope Ukraine feels the prayers, love and light that is being sent

As we host candlelight vigils in Regina and demonstration against the useless battle we share our dreams for Ukrainian people in Ukraine to expedient justice and to a safe return to homes and communities and engaging families back together.

Saskatchewan welcomes with open arms Ukrainians from Ukraine to come and enjoy a peaceful life here.

Regina Multicultural Council extends our hope to help in anyway possible.
